The opening ceremony was presided over by the Commandant JCSC, Maj Gen Eric Kinuthia, in the company of the Commander Lang’ata Garrison, Brigadier Makonani Balata and the Chief Instructor JCSC, Brigadier Seif Rashid, alongside Heads of Departments.
Addressing the student Officers, the Commandant challenged them to embrace discipline, focus and teamwork while mastering the language of jointness – the doctrine, mindset and shared purpose that unite Land, Air, Maritime and other components.
The course is designed to equip student officers with the requisite knowledge, skills and joint staff orientation required for Grade 3 staff appointments marking a pivotal transition from single Service thinking to integrated joint leadership.
As the Officers of course 105 / 26 begin their journey, the College reaffirms its role as the crucible in which the next generation of joint staff leadership is forged.
